Before You Cook

Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using ground beef, follow same instructions as shrimp in Steps 2 and 3, breaking into small pieces and baking uncovered in hot oven until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 17-20 minutes.

  • If using ground pork, follow same instructions as shrimp in Steps 2 and 3, breaking into small pieces and baking uncovered in hot oven until pork reaches minimum internal temperature, 16-18 minutes.

  • If using ground turkey, follow same instructions as shrimp in Steps 2 and 3, breaking into small pieces and baking uncovered in hot oven until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 17-20 minutes.

  • If using Italian sausage, remove from casing, if necessary. Follow same instructions as shrimp in Steps 2 and 3, breaking into small pieces and baking uncovered in hot oven until sausage reaches minimum internal temperature, 15-18 minutes.

    Bake the Zucchini

    Turn oven on to 425 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.

    In provided tray, combine zucchini and 2 tsp. olive oil. Spread into a single layer.

    Bake uncovered in hot oven, 10 minutes.

    Add the Shrimp and Pasta

    Carefully remove tray from oven. Drain shrimp thoroughly and pat dry.

    Stir roasted red peppers, pasta, garlic salt, pesto, 2 Tbsp. water, vegetable base, and a pinch of pepper into tray until thoroughly combined. Top with shrimp and dollops of cream cheese. Cream cheese will melt as meal bakes.

    Bake the Meal

    Bake uncovered in hot oven until pasta is heated through and shrimp reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 15-20 minutes.

    Carefully remove tray from oven. Stir until cream cheese is fully combined. Rest, 5 minutes.

    To serve, garnish with Parmesan. Bon appétit!
