Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using ground beef, cook in a medium non-stick pan over medium heat. Break up until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes. 

  • If using ground turkey, cook in a medium non-stick pan with 2 tsp. olive oil over medium heat. Break up until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes.

    Start the Bolognese Sauce

    Tear spinach.

    In provided tray, combine Bolognese sauce, pesto (to taste), red pepper flakes (to taste), spinach, and garlic salt. Spread into an even layer and evenly top with 1 Tbsp. salted butter.

    Butter will melt as sauce bakes.

    Bake uncovered in hot oven, 5 minutes.

    While Bolognese bakes, continue recipe.

    Add the Pasta and Béchamel Sauce

    In a microwave-safe bowl, combine cream base, cheese, and a pinch of salt.

    Microwave uncovered until cheese is melted, 1-2 minutes, stirring once halfway through.

    Carefully remove from microwave. Set aside.

    After 5 minutes, carefully remove tray from oven. Add pasta and a pinch of salt. Stir to combine. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Evenly top pasta with béchamel sauce.

    Finish the Meal

    Bake uncovered in hot oven until pasta and béchamel sauce are heated through, 8-10 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven. Bon appétit!
