Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |

Prepare the Ingredients
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Remove lid and label, if necessary. When ingredient appears in recipe, remove from packaging. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.
Combine pasta, sauce, onion, Parmesan, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper in provided tray. Mix well, then top with mozzarella. -
Add the Pork
Use tray lid to mix ground pork and seasoning blend. Break up into small pieces and place evenly on pasta.
If using ground turkey, follow same instructions. -
Finish the Dish
Bake uncovered in hot oven until pork reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees and no pink remains, 20-25 minutes.
If using ground turkey, bake uncovered in hot oven until turkey reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees and no pink remains, 20-25 minutes.Carefully remove from oven. Cool slightly, 5 minutes. Coarsely crush croutons. Top pasta with croutons and red pepper flakes (to taste). Bon appétit!
