Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

1 start the potatoes
Cut potato into 1/2" thick wedges. Pat dry.
Place potatoes on prepared baking sheet and toss with seasoned salt, a pinch of pepper, and 1 Tbsp. olive oil.Spread into single layer on one side of baking sheet.Place in oven 15 minutes.While potatoes cook, prepare the remaining ingredients. -
2 prepare the ingredients
Stem and mince thyme.
Halve and juice lemon.Peel and halve shallot. Slice thinly.Trim bottom end from broccolini and cut into 2" lengths.Combine thyme, mayonnaise, 2 tsp. lemon juice, and a pinch of salt and pepper.Season steaks with a pinch of salt and pepper. -
3 finish potatoes and cook broccolini
After potatoes have cooked for 15 minutes carefully flip.
Add broccolini and shallots to other half of prepared baking sheet. Toss with 1 tsp. olive oil and a pinch of salt and pepper.Place baking sheet in oven and cook 10-12 minutes until broccolini is fork tender. -
4 cook the steaks
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add steaks to hot pan, and cook until browned and steaks reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 5-7 minutes per side. -
5 make sauce and finish the dish
Same pan used to cook steaks add 1/2 cup water, and cheese spread.
Cook 1-2 minutes, stirring often until cheese is incorporated.Stir in parmesan and season with a pinch of pepper.Plate as shown.
