A note about serious food allergies

Everyone loves a steak with blue cheese, and now you can combine that deliciousness with pizza. A culinary Frankenstein, but instead of “it's alive,” you'll say “it's delicious!” Tip: To remove the core of a tomato, carefully making a circle with your knife around the stem, then remove circle.

Customize It Instructions

  • If using 20 oz. steak strips, follow same instructions as 10 oz. steak strips, seasoning with ¼ tsp. salt and pepper and working in batches if necessary.

  • If using Impossible burger, follow same instructions as steak strips in Steps 2, breaking into small pieces and cooking until heated through, 4-6 minutes.

  • If using ground beef, follow same instructions as steak strips in Steps 2, breaking up meat until no pink remains and beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

  • If using precooked shredded chicken, follow same instructions as steak strips in Steps 2, stirring occasionally, breaking up chicken, until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Core tomato and cut into ¼" rounds. Peel and halve shallot. Slice halves into thin strips. Separate steak strips into a single layer and pat dry.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil. Add steak strips, seasoning blend, shallot, and a pinch of salt and pepper to hot pan. Stir occasionally until no pink remains and steak reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 4-6 minutes. Remove from burner.

  3. 3

    Par-Bake the Flatbreads

Place flatbreads on prepared baking sheet, flat side up. Place baking sheet under hot broiler. Broil until beginning to brown around edges, 1-2 minutes. Don't text and broil! Keep an eye on flatbreads, as they may burn easily under broiler.

  4. 4

    Bake Flatbreads and Finish Dish

Carefully flip flatbreads. Top evenly with mozzarella, tomato, steak strip-shallot mixture, and blue cheese. Place baking sheet under broiler againa and broil until cheese is melted, 1-2 minutes. Plate dish as pictured on front of card, garnishing flatbreads with arugula. Bon appétit!
