Before You Cook
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

Cook the Steak Strips
Turn oven broiler on high. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.
Separate steak strips into a single layer and pat dry.Add mushrooms, onion, 2 tsp. olive oil, and 1/4 tsp. salt to provided tray, then top with steak strips, tearing into bite-sized pieces if desired. Season with garlic salt and 2 tsp. olive oil.Broil uncovered under hot broiler until steak strips begin to caramelize, 6-8 minutes. Add the Potatoes and Sauce
Carefully remove tray from broiler and adjust oven temperature to 425 degrees.
Top with potatoes and a pinch of salt. In a mixing bowl, combine demi-glace, Worcestershire sauce, wine, cornstarch, and 3/4 cup water. Pour over potatoes.
Finish the Meal
Bake uncovered in hot oven until stew has thickened enough to coat the back of a spoon and steak strips have reached a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 20-25 minutes.
Remove from oven. Stir to combine. Rest, 3 minutes.Top with crispy onions. Bon appétit!
