Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Turn oven on to 425 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Remove all produce from any packaging or constraints, then thoroughly rinse and pat dry.
Stir cream cheese and 1 Tbsp. water in provided tray until completely combined. If cream cheese is too firm, place in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave, 30 seconds.Top with corn, peppers, half the fajita seasoning (reserve remaining for steak strips), and a pinch of salt. -
2 Bake the Filling
Pat steak strips dry. Coarsely chop, if desired, then separate pieces.
Place steak strips on vegetables and top with remaining fajita seasoning, 2 tsp. olive oil, and a pinch of salt.Bake uncovered in hot oven until no pink remains on steak strips and steak strips reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 10-15 minutes.While filling bakes, continue recipe. -
3 Make Slaw and Assemble Tacos
Combine slaw mix, dressing (to taste), and a pinch of salt in a mixing bowl.
Wrap tortillas in a damp paper towel and microwave until warm, 30-60 seconds.Carefully remove tray from oven. Rest, 3 minutes.To serve, fill tortillas with filling and top with shredded cheese, slaw (to taste), and crispy jalapeños (to taste). Bon appétit!
