Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

If using ground beef, add meatballs to hot pan and cook until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 10-12 minutes.

If using ground turkey, add meatballs to hot pan and cook until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 11-13 minutes.

1 Form the Meatballs
In a mixing bowl, combine panko and 2 Tbsp. water. Let sit, 1 minute.
After 1 minute, add ground pork, pho base, and 1/4 tsp. salt. Stir to combine.Form mixture into eight equally-sized meatballs. -
2 Cook the Meatballs
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Add meatballs to hot pan and roll occasionally until meatballs are browned and reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 9-14 minutes.
Add sweet chili sauce and roll meatballs until coated.Remove from burner.While meatballs cook, continue recipe. -
3 Cook the Green Beans
Trim green beans, if necessary.
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Add green beans to hot pan and cook, 1 minute.Add 1/4 cup water. Cover, and cook until tender, 6-8 minutes.Uncover and season with 1/4 tsp. salt and a pinch of pepper. Remove from burner.While green beans cook, continue recipe. -
4 Make Spicy Mayonnaise and Finish Dish
In another mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise and hot sauce (to taste).
Coarsely crush peanuts in shipping bag.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping green beans with spicy mayonnaise and crushed peanuts. Bon appétit!
