Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

    Prepare the Potatoes

    Cut potatoes into 1" pieces.

    Place potatoes on prepared baking sheet. Add 1 tsp. olive oil, 1/4 tsp. salt, and garlic pepper. Massage oil and seasonings into potatoes and spread into an even layer on one half of sheet.

    Add the Meatloaf

    In a mixing bowl, thoroughly combine ground beef, savory seasoning, 1/4 tsp. salt, ricotta, and panko. Form meat mixture into two equally-sized, oval-shaped loaves, about 3" in length and 2" by height. Place loaves on empty side of baking sheet and top evenly with 1 tsp. olive oil.

    In another mixing bowl, combine ketchup and brown sugar. Set aside.

    Roast the Potatoes and Meatloaves and Add Broccoli

    Roast in hot oven until potatoes and meatloaves are browned, 13-15 minutes.

    Meatloaves will finish roasting in another step.

    Carefully remove baking sheet from oven. Top meatloaves evenly with brown sugar-ketchup mixture. Push potatoes to one third of sheet. Sheet will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Add broccoli to center of sheet. Top with 1 tsp. olive oil and a pinch of salt.

    Roast Vegetables and Meatloaves and Finish Dish

    Roast in hot oven until potatoes and broccoli are tender and meatloaves reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 7-9 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven.

    To serve, stir softened butter into potatoes and broccoli until melted and combined. Bon appétit!
