1 Form Meatballs and Start Sauce
Turn oven on to 425 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Remove Italian sausage from casing, if necessary.
In a mixing bowl, combine Italian sausage, panko, and ricotta. Form mixture into 12 equally-sized meatballs. Place meatballs in one provided tray and cover with foil.In second provided tray, combine flour and marinara and stir until no dry flour remains. Add 1/4 cup water, cream cheese, garlic salt, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir until combined and cover tray with foil. Cream cheese will melt as meal bakes. -
2 Add the Pasta
Bake both trays covered in hot oven until cream cheese melts, 10-12 minutes.
Carefully remove trays from oven. Uncover meatballs.Add pesto, pasta, and half the Parmesan (reserve remaining for garnish) to sauce tray. Stir until combined. Cover pasta tray with foil. -
3 Bake the Meal
Bake both trays (meatballs uncovered, pasta covered) in hot oven until pasta is heated through and meatballs reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 12-15 minutes.
Carefully remove trays from oven.To serve, top pasta with meatballs and garnish with remaining Parmesan. Bon appétit!
