Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

Meatlovers! If using protein, cook in a medium non-stick pan over medium heat with 1 tsp. olive oil.

If using antibiotic free chicken, pat dry. Cook until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

If using filets mignon or sirloin steaks, pat dry. Cook until steak reaches desired doneness, or 4-6 minutes per side for medium/medium-well. Rest, 3 minutes. Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

If using salmon, pat dry. Add salmon, skin-side up first, and cook until salmon reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes per side.

Add protein to meal as desired.

1 Cook Pasta and Prepare Ingredients
Once water is boiling, add pasta and cook until al dente, 10-12 minutes.
Remove from burner. Reserve 1 cup pasta cooking water. Drain pasta in a colander/strainer and set aside.While pasta cooks, remove puff pastry from refrigerator. Remove any paper from puff pastry square, if necessary. If paper is sticking, place puff pastry in freezer until firm, 5 minutes.Drain artichokes in another colander/strainer, rinse, and pat dry. Cut into 1" pieces.Mince garlic. -
2 Assemble the Puff Pastry
Lightly dampen or brush one side of puff pastry evenly with water.
Evenly top with shredded cheese, pressing gently to adhere.Cut lengthwise into four evenly-sized pieces.Holding both ends of one piece, gently twist each pastry strip twice.Transfer puff pastry to prepared baking sheet, pressing ends gently to adhere. -
3 Bake the Puff Pastry
Bake in hot oven until puff pastry is golden-brown, 8-10 minutes.
Carefully remove from oven.While puff pastry bakes, continue recipe. -
4 Make the Pasta
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.
Add garlic to hot pan and stir occasionally until slightly browned, 1-2 minutes.Add flour and stir occasionally until no dry flour remains.Add cream cheese, 1/4 tsp. salt, and 2/3 cup reserved pasta cooking water. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.Once simmering, add grated cheese, peas, and half the lemon n herb seasoning (reserve remaining for artichokes). Stir occasionally until combined and peas are heated through, 2-3 minutes.Add pasta and butter. Stir occasionally until combined and sauce is slightly thickened, 2-3 minutes.If too thick, add additional reserved pasta cooking water, 1 Tbsp. at a time, until desired consistency is reached.Remove from burner.While pasta cooks, continue recipe. -
5 Cook Artichokes and Finish Dish
Place another medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add artichokes to hot pan. Stir occasionally until browned, 2-3 minutes.Remove from burner. Stir in remaining lemon n herb seasoning until combined.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping pasta with artichokes. Bon appétit!
