A note about serious food allergies

Often good things come when cheese and bacon get together and work their magic, and this meal is no different. Great Swiss and brilliant bacon are delightful on the chicken. But there's more! More cheese in fact, with cheddar going on the fresh broccoli and cauliflower, and sour cream being plopped on top. Good things come to those who put this meal in their box.

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

  • Chicken 165° F |

Customize It Instructions

  • If using NY strip steak, follow same instructions as chicken in Steps 3 and 4, searing on one side until browned, 2-3 minutes, then adding cheese and bacon and roasting until steak reaches minimum internal temperature, 10-12 minutes. Rest, 3 minutes. Halve to serve.

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Cut cauliflower florets and broccoli into bite-sized pieces.

    Mince garlic.

  2. 2

    Start the Vegetables

Place broccoli and cauliflower on prepared baking sheet and toss with 2 tsp. olive oil and a pinch of salt and pepper.

Spread into a single layer. Roast in hot oven until browned and fork-tender, 14-16 minutes.

Carefully, remove from oven. Stir in garlic and push to one side. Top with cheddar. Baking sheet will be hot! Use a utensil. Vegetables will finish cooking in a later step.

    While vegetables roast, sear chicken.

  3. 3

    Sear the Chicken

Pat chicken dry, and season both sides with a pinch of salt and pepper.

Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Add chicken to hot pan, and cook until browned, 5-7 minutes on one side.

    Remove from burner.

  4. 4

    Finish the Chicken and Vegetables

Transfer chicken to empty side of baking sheet, seared side up. Top evenly with Swiss cheese and bacon.

Roast in hot oven until vegetables are cooked through and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 6-8 minutes.

While vegetables and chicken roast, make topping.

  5. 5

    Make Topping and Finish Dish

Combine sour cream and seasoning blend in a mixing bowl.

Plate dish as pictured on front of card, garnishing vegetables with topping. Bon appétit!
