Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F
Customize It Instructions

If using 20 oz. ground beef, follow same instructions as 10 oz., forming four patties and stacking two to serve.

If using Impossible burger, cook until patties reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 3-4 minutes per side.

Roast the Fries
Cut potatoes into 1/4" fries and pat dry. Place fries on prepared baking sheet and toss with 4 tsp. olive oil, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper. Spread into a single layer.
Roast in hot oven until lightly browned, 25-30 minutes, tossing once halfway through.Carefully remove from oven. Add ranch seasoning and stir to combine. Sheet and fries will be hot! Use a utensil.While fries roast, continue recipe. -
Prepare the Ingredients
Core tomato and cut into 1/2" rounds.
Peel and halve shallot. Slice thinly.Form ground beef into two equally-sized patties, about 5" in diameter. Season patties on both sides with blackening seasoning and a pinch of salt. -
Toast the Buns
Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat. Spray cut-sides of buns with cooking spray. Add buns, cut-side down, to hot, dry pan and toast until lightly browned, 1-2 minutes.
Remove from burner. Transfer buns to a plate and set aside. Wipe pan clean and reserve. -
Make the Bacon Topping
Return pan used to toast buns to medium heat. Add bacon and shallots to hot pan. Stir occasionally until bacon is crispy and shallots are browned, 2-3 minutes.
Remove from burner.Transfer shallot-bacon mixture to a mixing bowl. Add softened cream cheese and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir until combined. Set aside. -
Cook Patties and Finish Dish
Place another large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil. Add patties to hot pan. Cook until lightly charred and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes per side.
Top patties with cheese. Cover and let melt, 1-2 minutes.Remove from burner.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping bottom bun with patty, tomatoes, bacon topping, and top bun. Bon appétit!
