Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |

If using antibiotic free chicken, follow same instructions.

If using sirloin steaks, pat dry. Cook in a medium non-stick pan with 2 tsp. olive oil over medium heat until steak reaches desired doneness, or 4-6 minutes per side for medium/medium-well. Rest, 3 minutes. Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

1 Start the Meal
In one provided tray, combine orzo, cream base, 1 1/4 cups water, chicken base, and 1/4 tsp. salt. Spread into an even layer.
Pat chicken dry. Season both sides with rotisserie chicken seasoning and 1/4 tsp. salt. Place chicken in second provided tray.Bake both trays uncovered in hot oven, 15 minutes.Chicken will finish cooking in a later step.While orzo and chicken bake, continue recipe. -
2 Add Vegetables and Cheese and Top Chicken
Coarsely tear spinach.
In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and bacon. Set aside.After 15 minutes, carefully remove trays from oven and drain any excess liquid. Stir spinach, peas, and grated cheese into orzo until combined. Evenly spread cream cheese mixture on one side of chicken, then evenly top with shredded cheese. Trays will be hot! Use caution/a utensil. -
3 Finish the Meal
Bake both trays uncovered in hot oven until orzo is tender and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 10-12 minutes.
Carefully remove trays from oven and stir softened butter into orzo until combined. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.To serve, top orzo with chicken. Bon appétit!
