Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using ground beef, bake uncovered in hot oven until meatloaves reach minimum internal temperature, 25-30 minutes.

  1. 1

    Assemble the Casserole

Spray both provided trays with cooking spray.

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine sweet potatoes, half the garlic salt (reserve remaining for meatloaves), a pinch of pepper, and 2 tsp. olive oil.

Microwave uncovered until slightly tender, 3-5 minutes.

Carefully remove from microwave. Stir in corn and a pinch of salt until combined.

Place sweet potato mixture in one prepared tray and spread into an even layer. Evenly top with cream base.

  2. 2

    Form the Meatloaves

In a mixing bowl, add ground turkey, panko, mayonnaise, remaining garlic salt, and a pinch of pepper. Stir until thoroughly combined.

Form meat mixture into four equally-sized, oval-shaped loaves, about 3" in length and 2" by height.

Place meatloaves in second prepared tray and evenly top with half the dressing (reserve remaining for garnish).

  3. 3

    Bake the Meal

Bake both trays uncovered in hot oven until sweet potatoes are tender and meatloaves reach a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 20-25 minutes.

Carefully remove trays from oven and drain any excess liquid from meatloaves. Trays will be hot! Use caution.

Stir softened butter and half the cheese (reserve remaining for garnish) into sweet potato mixture until combined. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

To serve, top meatloaf with remaining dressing (use a new utensil; do not cross contaminate!) and crispy onions. Garnish sweet potato casserole with remaining cheese. Bon appétit!
