Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

If using antibiotic free chicken, pat dry. Cook until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Cut broccoli into bite-sized pieces.
Peel and slice potatoes into 1" thick rounds.Zest and halve lemon. Cut one half into wedges and juice the other half.Pat steaks dry and season both sides with garlic pepper. -
2 Make the Bacon Truffle Butter
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat.
Add bacon to hot, dry pan. Stir occasionally until crispy, 1-2 minutes.Remove from burner. Transfer bacon and bacon fat to a mixing bowl. Wipe pan clean and reserve.Add softened truffle butter (to taste), softened creme fraiche, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir to combine. Set aside. -
3 Roast the Broccoli
Place broccoli, 2 tsp. olive oil, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper on prepared baking sheet. Massage oil and seasonings into broccoli. Spread into an even layer.
Roast in hot oven until tender, 18-22 minutes.Carefully remove from oven. Stir in 1 tsp. lemon zest and 1 tsp. lemon juice. Sheet will be hot! Use a utensil.While broccoli roasts, continue recipe. -
4 Roast the Potatoes
Place a large oven-safe non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add potatoes, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper to hot pan. Sear until golden-brown, 2-3 minutes per side.Remove from burner. Add 2 Tbsp. water, chicken base, and garlic & herb butter. Stir until combined and potatoes are coated.Transfer pan to hot oven and roast until potatoes are tender, 15-20 minutes.Carefully remove from oven. Pan handle will be hot! Use an oven mitt.While potatoes roast, continue recipe. -
5 Cook Steaks and Finish Dish
Return pan used to cook bacon to medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add steaks to hot pan. Cook until browned and steaks reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 4-6 minutes per side.Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.Remove from burner. Rest, 3 minutes.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping steak with bacon truffle butter. Squeeze lemon wedges over broccoli to taste. Bon appétit!
