Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using Impossible burger, follow same instructions as ground beef in Steps 1 and 2, grilling on hot grill until heated through, 4-6 minutes per side.

  • If using ground pork, follow same instructions as ground beef in Steps 2 and 3, grilling on hot grill until pork reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-6 minutes per side.

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Spray grill with cooking spray and heat grill to medium-high. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.

    Place potatoes in provided grill bag. Roll open end of bag to seal and gently shake to mix.

    Form ground beef into two equally-sized patties. Season both sides with a pinch of salt and pepper and drizzle with 2 tsp. olive oil.

    Grill the Meal

    Place grill bag on hot grill and cook until potatoes are warmed through, 10-12 minutes.

    While grill bag cooks, place patties on hot grill and grill until patties reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes per side.

    Finish the Dish

    Place buns on hot grill, cut side down, and grill until toasted, 1-2 minutes.

    Transfer grill bag to a plate and let rest, 3 minutes.

    After 3 minutes, gently shake, then carefully open grill bag and scoop out potatoes.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, placing patty on bottom bun and topping with BBQ sauce, blue cheese (to taste), crispy onions, and top bun. Bon appétit!

    For a Rainy Day...

    If cooking indoors, place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil. Add potatoes to hot pan and cover. Stir occasionally until softened and heated through, 8-10 minutes. Transfer to a plate. Wipe pan clean and reserve. Follow same instructions for forming burger patties. Place another medium non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add patties to hot pan. Cook until lightly charred and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes per side. Remove from burner. Return pan used to heat potatoes to medium-low heat and add buns to hot, dry pan. Toast until lightly browned, 1-2 minutes. Follow same instructions for plating. Bon appétit!
