Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using ground turkey, cook in a medium non-stick pan with 2 tsp. olive oil over medium heat. Break up until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes.

    Bake the Beef

    Place ground beef in provided tray and break up into bite-sized pieces.

    Bake uncovered in hot oven until beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 17-20 minutes.

    While beef bakes, continue recipe.

    Add the Sauce and Noodles

    In a microwave-safe bowl, combine cream base, cheese, and a pinch of salt.

    Microwave uncovered until cheese is melted, 1-2 minutes, stirring once halfway through.

    Carefully remove from microwave.

    After 17-20 minutes, carefully remove tray from oven and drain any excess liquid. Tray will be hot! Use caution.

    Add garlic salt, Italian seasoning, Calabrian peppers (to taste), tomato sauce, and noodles. Stir to combine and spread into an even layer. Evenly top with cream base mixture.

    Prepare Basil and Finish Meal

    Bake meal uncovered in hot oven until noodles are heated through, 8-10 minutes.

    Carefully remove tray from oven.

    While meal bakes, tear basil into smaller pieces.

    To serve, top noodle casserole with basil. Bon appétit!
