Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F
Customize It Instructions

If using ground pork, break up meat until pork reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

If using ground turkey, break up meat until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 7-9 minutes.

If using Impossible burger, break up until burger reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes.

1 Cook the Pasta
Once water is boiling, add pasta and cook until al dente, 8-10 minutes.
Remove from burner. Drain in a colander. Set aside.While pasta boils, continue recipe. -
2 Prepare the Ingredients
Halve and peel onion. Cut halves into 1/4" dice.
Coarsely chop cauliflower. -
3 Cook the Ground Beef
Place a large oven-safe non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, onions, garlic pepper, and garlic salt to hot, dry pan. Break up meat until no pink remains and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes.
Add flour and stir until no dry flour remains, 2-3 minutes.Add chicken base, tomatoes, cauliflower, and 1 cup water. Bring to a simmer.Once simmering, remove from burner. -
4 Assemble the Casserole
Stir in half the cheese (reserve remaining for topping) and pasta.
Top with remaining cheese. Cover pan with foil. -
5 Bake Casserole and Finish Dish
Bake covered in hot oven, 15 minutes.
Carefully remove from oven and remove foil. Bake again uncovered in hot oven until cheese bubbles, 12-16 minutes.Carefully remove from oven.Plate dish as pictured on front of card. Bon appétit!
