Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

1 Cook the Rice
Bring a small pot with rice, 1/4 tsp. salt, white portions of green onions (prepared in a later step), and 11/4 cups water to a boil.
Once boiling, reduce to a simmer, cover, and cook until rice is tender, 15-18 minutes.Remove from burner and set aside.While rice cooks, continue recipe. -
2 Prepare Ingredients and Quick-Pickle Radish
Trim and thinly slice cucumber.
Thinly slice radish.Trim and thinly slice green onions on an angle, keeping white and green portions separate.Mince garlic.Combine radish, vinegar, and a pinch of salt in a mixing bowl. Set aside. -
3 Cook the Beef
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 Tbsp. olive oil. Let heat, 3 minutes.
After 3 minutes, add beef to hot pan and break into 2" pieces. Spread into an even layer and cook undisturbed until dark brown and crisp, 2-3 minutes per side.Break beef into smaller pieces and stir occasionally until beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 1-2 minutes. -
4 Add the Sauce
Add garlic, ginger, a pinch of salt, and garlic sesame sauce to hot pan with beef. Stir until coated, 30-60 seconds.
Remove from burner. -
5 Finish the Dish
Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping rice with beef mixture and garnishing with cucumbers, quick-pickled radish, green portions of green onions, and sesame seeds. Bon appétit!
