Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using antibiotic free chicken, pat dry. Cook until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Line a microwave-safe plate with a paper towel. Place bacon on towel-lined plate and spread into an even layer.

    Microwave until crispy, 1-2 minutes.

    While bacon microwaves, trim green beans, if necessary.

    Pat chicken dry and season both sides with rotisserie chicken seasoning.

    Cook the Chicken

    Place a medium oven-safe non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.

    Add chicken to hot pan. Cook until browned and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 3-5 minutes per side.

    Cutlet thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner cutlet, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

    Remove from burner.

    While chicken cooks, continue recipe.

    Cook the Green Beans

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.

    Add green beans and garlic and parsley seasoning to hot pan. Cook, 1 minute.

    After 1 minute, add 1/4 cup water, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper. Cover, and cook until tender, 6-8 minutes.

    If green beans need more time, add 2 Tbsp. water, cover, and stir occasionally, 1-3 minutes.

    Remove from burner. Stir in softened butter until melted and combined.

    Broil Chicken and Finish Dish

    In a mixing bowl, combine bacon, pesto, softened cream cheese, shredded cheese, and a pinch of pepper.

    Evenly top chicken with cream cheese mixture.

    Broil chicken under hot broiler until cream cheese mixture is bubbling and browned, 1-2 minutes.

    Don't text and broil! Keep an eye on oven as cream cheese mixture may burn easily under broiler.

    Carefully remove from oven. Pan handle will be hot! Use an oven mitt.
