Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

    Make the Meal

    If using microwave, Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Place poblano in provided tray and microwave uncovered, 3 minutes. Remove from microwave. Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. Tear a small slit in an upper corner of bag to vent. Place upright in microwave and heat, 45 seconds. Remove rice from packaging. Place rice in tray and add chicken, cream cheese, cheese, seasoning blend, and 2 Tbsp. water. Cover tray with a damp paper towel. Microwave until warmed through 3-4 minutes. Carefully remove tray from microwave. Garnish with tortilla strips. Bon appétit! If using oven, preheat oven to 375 degrees. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Place poblano in provided tray and bake uncovered in hot oven, 10 minutes. Remove from oven.Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. Tear a small slit in an upper corner of bag to vent. Place upright in microwave and heat, 45 seconds. Remove rice from packaging. Place rice in tray and add chicken, cream cheese, cheese, seasoning blend, and 2 Tbsp. water. Place tray on baking sheet and bake uncovered until warmed through 8-10 minutes. Carefully remove tray from oven. Garnish with tortilla strips. Bon appétit!
