Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

    Roast The Potatoes

    Halve potatoes lengthwise. Toss fingerling potatoes with 2 tsp. olive oil, seasoning blend, and a pinch of salt and pepper on prepared baking sheet. Spread into a single layer and roast until golden brown and fork-tender, 18-20 minutes.

    While potatoes roast, prepare the ingredients.

    Prepare The Burgers

    Add ground beef and cheese to a mixing bowl until completely combined. Form into two patties, 5" in diameter. Season patties on both sides with a pinch of salt and pepper."

    Cook The Burgers

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add patties to hot pan. Cook until lightly charred and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes per side.

    Transfer patties to a plate. Reserve pan; wipe clean.

    Place buns cut side down and toast until toasted, 1-2 minutes.

    Heat The Sauce

    In the same pan over medium heat, add roasted tomatoes and salsa verde and bring to a simmer.
