Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

1 Cook the Meal
If using microwave: Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Combine pepper and onion mix, seasoning blend (chimichurri sauce is used later), and 1 Tbsp. water in provided tray. Cover tray with a damp paper towel. Microwave until slightly softened, 3-4 minutes. Carefully remove tray from microwave. Add beef and cover with damp paper towel. Microwave again until heated through, 3-4 minutes. Carefully remove from microwave and stir to combine. Wrap tortillas in a damp paper towel and microwave until warm, 30-60 seconds. Fill tortillas with beef and vegetables. Garnish with cheese, chimichurri sauce, and sour cream. Bon appétit!
If using oven: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Combine pepper and onion mix, seasoning blend (chimichurri sauce is used later), and 1 Tbsp. water in provided tray. Cover tray with foil. Place tray on baking sheet. Bake covered in hot oven, 14-16 minutes. Carefully remove tray from oven. Add beef and cover with foil. Bake again on baking sheet until warmed through, 10-12 minutes. Carefully remove from oven and stir to combine. Wrap tortillas in a damp paper towel and microwave until warm, 30-60 seconds. Fill tortillas with beef and vegetables. Garnish with cheese, chimichurri sauce, and sour cream. Bon appétit!
