Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Remove lid and label. When ingredient appears in recipe, remove from packaging.
Mix rice and 3/4 cup water in bottom of provided tray. Add green beans to half the tray. Drizzle beans with 2 tsp. olive oil and season with a pinch of salt. -
2 Add the Chicken
Place chicken in empty half of tray. Drizzle chicken evenly with demi-glace.
If using pork chops or sirloin steaks, follow same instructions. -
3 Bake the Dish
Bake uncovered in hot oven until rice is tender and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 25-30 minutes.
If using pork chops follow same instructions and bake in hot oven until pork reaches minimum internal temperature, 24-26 minutes.If using sirloin steaks, follow same instructions and bake in hot oven until steak reaches minimum internal temperature, 16-20 minutes. If rice needs more time, carefully transfer steaks to a plate and bake again until rice is tender, 8-10 minutes.Carefully, remove from oven. Spread goat cheese evenly on chicken and top with cranberry sauce. Bon appétit!
