Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • Meatlovers! If using protein, cook in a medium non-stick pan over medium heat with 1 tsp. olive oil. 

  • If using antibiotic free chicken, pat dry. Cook until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

  • If using filets mignon or sirloin steaks, pat dry. Cook until steak reaches desired doneness, or 4-6 minutes per side for medium/medium-well. Rest, 3 minutes. Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

  • If using salmon, pat dry. Add salmon, skin-side up first, and cook until salmon reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes per side. 

  • Add protein to meal as desired.

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Coarsely chop spinach.

    Halve and peel shallot. Cut one half into 1/4" dice (remaining half is yours to use as you please!).

    Cook the Gnocchi

    Line a plate with a paper towel.

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 Tbsp. olive oil.

    Add gnocchi to hot pan. Stir occasionally until tender and golden-brown, 5-7 minutes.

    Transfer gnocchi to towel-lined plate. Keep pan over medium heat; no need to wipe clean.

    Make the Sauce

    Add 1 tsp. olive oil, shallots, and a pinch of salt to hot pan. Stir occasionally until slightly softened, 1-2 minutes.

    Stir in cream base until combined and bring to a simmer.

    Once simmering, add garlic pepper, spinach, and a pinch of salt. Stir occasionally until combined and spinach is wilted, 1-2 minutes.

    Add 2/3 the cheese (reserve remaining for garnish) and stir until combined, 1-2 minutes.

    Remove from burner.

    While sauce cooks, continue recipe.

    Make Calabrian Chili Butter and Finish Dish

    Place butter in a microwave-safe bowl.

    Microwave uncovered until melted, 20-30 seconds.

    Carefully remove from microwave. Stir in half the Calabrian peppers (to taste; reserve remaining for garnish) until combined.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping sauce with gnocchi. Garnish with Calabrian chili butter (to taste), remaining cheese, lemon juice, and remaining Calabrian peppers (to taste). Bon appétit!
