Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Prepare the Chicken

    Turn oven on to 425 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.

    Crush crispy jalapeños in bag.

    Pat chicken dry and season both sides with taco seasoning.

    Add chicken to one provided tray. Top evenly with a thin layer of mayonnaise and crushed crispy jalapeños (use less if spice-averse).

    Prepare Vegetables and Bake Meal

    Drain potatoes.

    In second provided tray, combine potatoes, corn, 1 tsp. olive oil, chile and cumin rub, and a pinch of salt.

    Bake both trays uncovered in hot oven until potatoes are warmed through and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 20-25 minutes.

    While meal bakes, continue recipe.

    Make Sauce and Finish Meal

    In a microwave-safe bowl, combine cream cheese, salsa, shredded cheese, and 2 Tbsp. water. Cover with a damp paper towel. Microwave until hot, 30-60 seconds.

    Remove from microwave and stir vigorously to combine.

    Carefully remove both trays from oven.

    To serve, top chicken with sauce. Bon appétit!
