Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

    Prepare The Ingredients

    Thinly slice shallots

    Cook The Prosciutto

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add 2 tsp. olive oil and prosciutto to pan. cook until crisped, 4-6 minutes. Transfer to a towl lined plate. Once cool, break into thirds. Reserve pan; no need to wipe clean.

    Cook The Vegetables

    In the same pan over medium-high heat, add 2 tsp. olive oil, seasoned salt, brussels, and carrots. Stir often until lightly browned, 2-3 minutes. Add ¼ cup water and cover. Cook until water is mostly evaporated and vegetables are tender, 2-3 minutes." Transfer vegetables to a plate. Reserve pan; no need to wipe clean. In the same pan over medium heat, add 1 tsp olive oil, apples, and sliced shallots. Cook until soft and caramelized, 5-7 minutes.

    Toast The Buns and Finish The Dish

    Place buns cut side up on prepared baking sheet. Top evenly with shallots, apples, and cheese. Place under broiler until bread is toasted and cheese is melted, 1-2 minutes. Slather mayo evenly on buns. Plate dish as pictured on front of card. Bon appétit!
