Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using chicken breasts, pat dry. Cook until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

  • If using filets mignon, pat dry. Cook until steak reaches desired doneness, or 4-6 minutes per side for medium/medium-well. Rest, 3 minutes. Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

  1. 1

    Mash the Cauliflower

Bring a medium pot with cauliflower covered by water to a boil.

Once boiling, cook until fork-tender, 12-15 minutes.

Remove from burner. Drain cauliflower in a colander and return to pot. Mash until smooth. Add half the softened cream cheese, half the butter (reserve remaining of both for sauce), garlic and parsley seasoning, and 1/2 tsp. salt. Stir until smooth.

    While cauliflower boils, continue recipe.

  2. 2

    Roast the Green Beans

    Trim green beans, if necessary.

Place green beans on prepared baking sheet. Toss with 1 tsp. olive oil, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper. Spread into a single layer.

Roast in hot oven until tender, but still crisp, 12-14 minutes.

Remove from oven and toss green beans with Parmesan.

While green beans roast, continue recipe.

  3. 3

    Cook the Steaks

    Pat steaks dry.

Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Add steaks to hot pan and cook until steaks reach desired doneness, or 4-6 minutes per side for medium/medium-well.

Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner. Remove from burner. Transfer steaks to a plate and cover with foil. Rest, 3 minutes.

    Wipe pan clean and reserve.

  4. 4

    Make the Sauce

Return pan used to cook steaks to medium heat. Add remaining softened cream cheese, remaining butter, coarse black pepper, mustard (to taste), and 2 Tbsp. water to hot pan. Stir constantly until smooth, 2-3 minutes.

    Remove from burner.

If sauce is too thick, add additional water, 1 tsp. at a time, until desired consistency is reached.

  5. 5

    Finish the Dish

Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping steak with sauce. Bon appétit!
