Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Roast the Potatoes

    Turn oven on to 400 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.

    Drain potatoes.

    Mince garlic.

    Stem and mince oregano.

    Combine potatoes, oregano, and garlic in provided tray and spread into a single layer.

    Roast in hot oven, 12 minutes.

    While potatoes roast, continue recipe.

    Add the Chicken

    Combine harissa and honey in a mixing bowl. Pat chicken dry.

    Carefully remove tray from oven. Push potatoes to one side. Top with garlic salt and butter. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Place chicken in empty side of tray. Top evenly with harissa-honey mixture, then cheese. Press cheese gently to adhere.

    Bake the Dish

    Bake uncovered in hot oven until chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 20-25 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven. Garnish chicken with crispy onions. Bon appétit!
