To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |

If using antibiotic free chicken, pat dry. Cook until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

If using salmon, pat dry. Add salmon, skin-side up first, and cook until salmon reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes per side.

1 Start the Sweet Potato Wedges
Cut sweet potatoes into 1/4" wedges and pat dry.
Place wedges on one half of prepared baking sheet and toss with 1 tsp. olive oil and piri piri seasoning (use less if spice-averse). Spread into a single layer on their side.Roast in hot oven, 20 minutes.While wedges roast, continue recipe. -
2 Prepare Ingredients and Make Whipped Butter
Trim zucchini ends, halve lengthwise, and cut into 1/4” slices on an angle.
Trim and thinly slice green onions, keeping white and green portions separate.Mince garlic.In a mixing bowl, combine softened lemon garlic butter and softened creme fraiche. Set aside.Remove puff pastry from refrigerator. Remove any paper between pastry squares. If paper is sticking, place puff pastry in freezer until firm, 5 minutes. Halve diagonally. You should have 4 triangles. Evenly divide cheese and green portions of green onions among pastry triangles, placing in center. Fold pastry over cheese mixture, using a fork to seal edges. Refrigerate again until use.Pat steaks dry and season both sides with garlic pepper and 1/4 tsp. salt. -
3 Add Puff Pastry and Finish Sweet Potato Wedges
After 20 minutes, carefully remove sheet from oven and flip wedges. Sheet will be hot! Use a utensil.
Remove puff pastry from refrigerator and transfer to empty side of sheet.Roast in hot oven until puff pastry is golden-brown and wedges are tender, 11-13 minutes.Carefully remove from oven.While puff pastry and wedges roast, continue recipe. -
4 Cook the Steaks
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.
Add steaks to hot pan. Cook until browned and steaks reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 4-6 minutes per side.Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.Remove from burner. Transfer steaks to a plate and tent with foil. Rest, 3 minutes.While steaks cook, continue recipe. -
5 Cook Zucchini and Finish Dish
Place another medium non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.
Add zucchini to hot pan. Stir occasionally until slightly browned and tender, 4-5 minutes.Add white portions of green onions, garlic, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir often until combined and garlic is fragrant, 1-2 minutes.Remove from burner.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping steak with whipped butter. Bon appétit!
