Customize It Instructions

  • Meatlovers! If using protein, cook in a medium non-stick pan over medium heat with 1 tsp. olive oil.

  • If using antibiotic free chicken, pat dry. Cook until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

  • If using filets mignon or sirloin steaks, pat dry. Cook until steak reaches desired doneness, or 4-6 minutes per side for medium/medium-well. Rest, 3 minutes. Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

  • If using salmon, pat dry. Add salmon, skin-side up first, and cook until salmon reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes per side.

  • Add protein to meal as desired.

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Stem and mince thyme.

    Cut mushrooms into 1/4" slices.

Halve and peel onion. Cut halves into 1/4" slices.

  2. 2

    Cook the Gnocchi

Line a plate with a paper towel.

Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 Tbsp. olive oil.

Add gnocchi to hot pan. Stir occasionally until tender and golden-brown, 5-7 minutes.

Transfer gnocchi to towel-lined plate. Keep pan over medium heat; no need to wipe clean.

  3. 3

    Cook the Vegetables

Add 2 tsp. olive oil, onions, and mushrooms to hot pan. Stir occasionally until vegetables are browned, 10-12 minutes.

If pan is dry, add water, 1 Tbsp. at a time, as needed.

Stir in 1 tsp. thyme (to taste), sugar, mushroom base, and a pinch of pepper until combined, 30-60 seconds.

  4. 4

    Add the Sauce and Gnocchi

Add cream base, cream cheese, shredded cheese, 1/4 cup water, and a pinch of salt and pepper to hot pan. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.

Once simmering, add gnocchi. Stir often until sauce is slightly thickened and gnocchi is coated, 1-2 minutes.

If too thick, add additional water, 1 Tbsp. at a time, until desired consistency is reached.

    Remove from burner.

  5. 5

Broil Garlic Bread, Dress Arugula, and Finish Dish

Separate roll halves. Evenly spread softened butter on cut-side of halves.

Place roll halves, cut-side up, on prepared baking sheet.

Broil under hot broiler until toasted and browned, 2-3 minutes.

Don't text and broil! Keep an eye on oven as roll halves may burn easily under broiler.

    Carefully remove from broiler.

In a mixing bowl, combine arugula, 1/2 tsp. olive oil, and a pinch of salt.

Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping gnocchi with arugula. Slice garlic bread, if desired. Bon appétit!
