Cooking Guidelines

    Slice shallots thin

    Juice lime

    Make Sauce and Pickled Shallots

    In a bowl, combine sour cream and creole seasoning. Set aside.

    Combine shallots and lime juice in a bowl. Let sit while you prepare the rest of the meal.

    Cook Tilapia

    In a bowl, combine tempura mix with water enough to make a semi-thick mixture. Sprinkle .5 tsp salt and a pinch of pepper on fish. Dip into tempura batter and fry in canola oil.

    Make Slaw Mixture

    In a bowl, combine slaw mix with sour cream mixture.

    Finish The Dish

    Place fried tilapia on leaf lettuce and top with slaw mixture and pickled shallots.
