-
If using antibiotic free chicken, pat dry. Cook until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.
-
If using filets mignon or sirloin steaks, pat dry. Cook until steak reaches desired doneness, or 4-6 minutes per side for medium/medium-well. Rest, 3 minutes. Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.
-
1 Start the Potatoes
Pierce potatoes 5 times all over with a fork. Place potatoes on prepared baking sheet.
Drizzle with 2 tsp. olive oil and season all over with 1/4 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. pepper. Massage oil and seasonings into potatoes.Roast in hot oven until potatoes can be easily pierced with a knife, 45-60 minutes.Alternatively, place potatoes on a microwave-safe plate and microwave uncovered until easily pierced with a knife, 6-10 minutes. (Note: microwaves vary in power; begin checking doneness every minute after 6 minutes.) While potatoes roast, continue recipe. -
2 Prepare the Ingredients
Line a microwave-safe plate with a paper towel.
Spread bacon evenly on towel-lined plate and microwave until crisp, 1-2 minutes.Carefully remove from microwave. While bacon microwaves, pat steaks dry and season both sides with steak seasoning. Steak coloration may vary upon arrival due to packaging processes; steak quality and flavor will not be impacted. -
3 Cook the Steaks
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add steaks to hot pan. Cook until steaks reach desired doneness, or 3-5 minutes per side for medium/medium-well.Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.Remove from burner. Transfer steaks to a plate and cover with foil. Rest, 3 minutes. While steaks cook, continue recipe. -
4 Make the Sauce
Place roasted garlic & herb butter in a microwave-safe bowl and cover with a damp paper towel.
Microwave covered until melted, 25-35 seconds.Carefully remove from microwave and vigorously stir in mayonnaise until combined. If sauce doesn't quickly emulsify, your butter may be too hot. Whisk in 1 tsp. cold water at a time until sauce comes together.Set aside. -
5 Finish Potatoes and Finish Dish
After 45-60 minutes, carefully remove sheet from oven. Let potatoes cool, at least 5 minutes.
After 5 minutes, or once cool enough to handle, transfer potatoes to a clean, flat work surface.Halve potatoes lengthwise, making sure not to cut all the way through.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping steak with sauce. Slice steak, if desired.Garnish potato with salted butter (to taste), cheese, bacon, and sour cream. Bon appétit!
