Before You Cook

Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using salmon, pat dry and season flesh side with half the garlic salt and a pinch of pepper. Follow same instructions as pork in Step 2, placing in hot pan flesh side down, and cooking until salmon reaches a minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

  • If using chicken breasts, follow same instructions as pork, cooking until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature.

  • If using sirloin steak, follow same instructions as pork, cooking until sirloin steak reaches minimum internal temperature.

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Cut broccoli into bite-sized pieces.

    Combine honey, butter, and a pinch of pepper in a mixing bowl. Set aside.

    Pat pork chops dry, and season both sides with garlic salt and a pinch of pepper.

    Cook the Pork Chops

    Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.

    Add pork chops to hot pan and cook until golden brown and chops reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 5-7 minutes per side.

    While pork chops cook, cook broccoli.

    Cook the Broccoli

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 Tbsp. olive oil. Add broccoli and 1 Tbsp. water to hot pan. Cover, and cook until water is almost completely evaporated, 5 minutes.

    Uncover, and stir occasionally until tender, 2-3 minutes.

    Remove from burner and stir in Parmesan, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper.

    Finish the Dish

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, placing honey butter on pork chop. Bon appétit!
