Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using diced chicken thighs, pat dry. Follow same instructions. Don't worry about trimming. Excess fat will render while cooking and add flavor.

  • If using shrimp, pat dry. Cook in a medium non-stick pan over medium heat with 1 tsp. olive oil until pink and shrimp reach minimum internal temperature, 2-3 minutes per side.

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Pat chicken dry.

    Combine chicken, corn, cheese, 1 tsp. olive oil, chipotle seasoning (use less if spice-averse), 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper in provided tray. Spread into an even layer.

    Bake the Chicken Mixture

    Bake uncovered in hot oven until chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 20-22 minutes.

    While chicken mixture bakes, continue recipe.

    Heat Tortillas, Dress Slaw, and Finish Meal

    Wrap tortillas in a damp paper towel and microwave until warm, 30-60 seconds.

    If tortillas come folded, keep folded.

    Combine slaw mix and dressing in a mixing bowl. Set aside.

    Carefully remove tray from oven.

    To serve, fill tortillas with chicken mixture and top with hot honey (to taste), slaw, and crispy onions. Bon appétit!
