Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

    Prepare The Ingredients

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Remove lid and label, if necessary. Reserve lid. When ingredient appears in recipe, remove from packaging. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Mix pasta with peas and a pinch of salt and pepper in bottom of provided tray until completely combined.

    Add Sausage

    Remove Italian sausage from casing. Break up meat with your hands and spread evenly on top of pasta.

    Bake The Dish

    Bake uncovered in hot oven until sausage reaches a minimum internal temperature of 155 degrees, 24-27 minutes. Stir in cream cheese, dijon, and ½ cup water until completely combined. Garnish dish with red pepper flakes (to taste) and shaved Parmesan. Bon appétit!
