Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Turn oven on to 400 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.
Remove Italian sausage from casing, if necessary. Crumble into pieces.Combine Italian sausage and peppers in one provided tray. Spread into an even layer.Bake uncovered in hot oven until no pink remains on sausage and peppers are tender, 12-15 minutes.Carefully remove tray from oven. -
2 Add the Pasta and Sauce
Transfer Italian sausage and peppers to a mixing bowl. Add marinara, pasta, pesto (use less if spice-averse), and 1/4 tsp. salt. Stir to combine.
Distribute mixture evenly between both provided trays. Top with Parmesan and mozzarella. -
3 Bake the Meal
Bake uncovered in hot oven until cheese is bubbly, pasta is heated through, and Italian sausage reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 10-12 minutes.
Carefully remove from oven. Bon appétit!
