  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 Medium Non-Stick Pan
  • 1 Mixing Bowl

Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

    Cook the Chicken

    Pat chicken breasts dry.

    Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Add chicken breasts to hot pan, and cook until browned and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 5-7 minutes per side. Remove chicken to a plate and allow to cool.

    Remove pan from burner.

    Make the Salad

    Quarter apple and remove core. Thinly slice.

    Coarsely chop walnuts.

    Cut chicken into 1" dice.

    In a mixing bowl, combine spinach, sliced apple, walnuts, diced chicken, and dressing. Season salad with salt and pepper to taste.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, garnishing with cheese. Bon appétit!
