Trim and thinly slice green onions on an angle, keeping white and green portions separate.
Slice pepperoni into 1/4" pieces. -
2 Start the Chili
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add ground beef, poblanos (use less if spice-averse), bacon, pepperoni, and white portions of green onions to hot pan. Stir occasionally, breaking up beef, until poblanos begin to soften, 4-5 minutes.Add flour and stir until no dry flour remains. -
3 Finish the Chili
Stir tomatoes, 1 cup water, chile and cumin rub, 1/4 tsp. salt, and 1/4 tsp. pepper into hot pan. Bring to a boil.
Once boiling, cover. Stir occasionally until poblanos are tender, no pink remains on ground beef, and ground beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-5 minutes.Remove from burner. Stir in a pinch of pepper. -
4 Finish the Dish
Plate dish as pictured on front of card, garnishing with cheese, sour cream, and green portions of green onions. Bon appétit!
