1 Start the Chicken and Snap Peas
Turn oven on to 400 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and warm water before cooking, and after handling raw meat. Remove all produce from any packaging or constraints, then thoroughly rinse and pat dry.
Set butter on counter to soften. Spray provided tray with cooking spray. If desired, pull strings from snap peas.Pat chicken dry and season both sides with garlic and parsley seasoning, Asian garlic, ginger & chile seasoning (use less if spice-averse), and a pinch of salt and pepper. Place in one side of tray.Place snap peas in empty side of tray. Top with 1 tsp. olive oil and a pinch of salt.Bake uncovered in hot oven, 12 minutes.Chicken will finish cooking in a later step. -
2 Add the Vegetables
Carefully remove tray from oven. Transfer chicken to a plate. Drain any excess liquid from tray. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.
Stir slaw mix, sesame oil, garlic salt, and a pinch of salt and pepper into tray with snap peas. Top vegetable mixture with chicken. -
3 Bake Meal and Make Miso Butter
Bake again uncovered in hot oven until chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 10-12 minutes.
While meal bakes, in a mixing bowl, combine miso and softened butter until smooth.Carefully remove tray from oven.To serve, top chicken with miso butter and garnish vegetables with sesame seeds. Bon appétit!
