Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

    Microwave Instructions

    Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.

    Combine mushrooms and 2 tsp. olive oil in provided tray.

    Microwave uncovered until mushrooms have softened, 4-5 minutes.

    Carefully remove tray from microwave. Stir in flour until mushrooms are coated. Add 1 cup water, bolognese sauce, cream cheese, garlic salt, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper and stir until completely combined. Then stir in pasta, half the Parmesan (reserve remaining for garnish), and a pinch of salt.

    Microwave again uncovered until slightly thickened, 4-5 minutes.

    While meal microwaves, combine ricotta and a pinch of salt and pepper in a mixing bowl.

    Carefully remove tray from microwave.

    To serve, garnish with remaining Parmesan, ricotta, and red pepper flakes (to taste). Bon appétit!

    Oven instructions

    Turn oven on to 375 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.

    Combine mushrooms and 2 tsp. olive oil in provided tray.

    Place tray on a baking sheet. Bake uncovered in hot oven until mushrooms have softened, 10-12 minutes.

    Carefully remove tray from oven. Stir in flour until mushrooms are coated. Add 1 cup water, bolognese sauce, cream cheese, garlic salt, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper and stir until completely combined. Then stir in pasta, half the Parmesan (reserve remaining for garnish), and a pinch of salt.

    Place tray on a baking sheet. Bake again uncovered in hot oven until slightly thickened, 15-20 minutes.

    While meal bakes, combine ricotta and a pinch of salt and pepper in a mixing bowl.

    Carefully remove tray from oven.

    To serve, garnish with remaining Parmesan, ricotta, and red pepper flakes (to taste). Bon appétit!
