Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F
Customize It Instructions

If using shrimp, follow same instructions as chicken in Steps 1 and 2, cooking shrimp until opaque and shrimp reaches minimum internal temperature, 2-3 minutes per side.

If using whole chicken breasts, pat dry and cut into 1" pieces. Follow same instructions as diced chicken.

If using diced chicken thighs, follow same instructions as chicken breasts.

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Coarsely chop pickles. Pat chicken dry. Combine chicken, cornstarch, and a pinch of pepper in a mixing bowl until evenly coated.

2 Cook the Chicken
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 Tbsp. olive oil. Add chicken to hot pan and stir occasionally until chicken browns and reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 5-7 minutes. Transfer chicken to another mixing bowl. Combine with hot sauce (to taste) and seasoning blend until evenly coated. While chicken cooks, make slaw.

3 Make the Slaw
In another mixing bowl, combine slaw mix, mayonnaise, 1 tsp. olive oil, and a pinch of pepper.

4 Warm Tortillas and Finish Dish
Wrap tortillas in a damp paper towel and microwave until warm, 30-60 seconds. Plate dish as pictured on front of card, filling tortillas with chicken and topping with slaw and cheese. Garnish with crispy onions and pickles. Bon appétit!
