Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Microwave Instructions

    Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.

    Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. Tear a small slit in an upper corner of bag to vent. Place upright in microwave and heat, 45 seconds.

    Remove rice from packaging. Place edamame and 1/2 tsp. olive oil in one section of provided tray. Microwave uncovered, 2 minutes.

    Carefully remove from microwave. Drain pulled pork and separate pork into pieces. In section of tray with edamame, combine garlic sesame sauce, BBQ sauce, and pulled pork. In empty section of tray, combine rice, miso, 2 Tbsp. water, and 1/4 tsp. salt. Cover tray with a damp paper towel. Microwave until heated through, 3-5 minutes.

    Carefully remove tray from microwave.

    To serve, top rice with pulled pork mixture and garnish with crispy noodles. Bon appétit!

    Turn oven on to 375 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.

    Remove rice from packaging. Place edamame and 1/2 tsp. olive oil in one section of provided tray. Place tray on a baking sheet. Bake uncovered in hot oven until heated through, 10-15 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven. Drain pulled pork and separate pork into pieces. In section of tray with edamame, combine garlic sesame sauce, BBQ sauce, and pulled pork. In empty section of tray, combine rice, miso, 2 Tbsp. water, and 1/4 tsp. salt. Place tray on a baking sheet. Bake again uncovered in hot oven until heated through, 15-20 minutes.

    Carefully remove tray from oven.

    To serve, top rice with pulled pork mixture and garnish with crispy noodles. Bon appétit!
