Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Core tomato and cut into 1/2" dice.

    Trim cucumber and thinly slice into rounds.

    Peel and halve shallot. Slice thinly.

    Start the Salad

    In a mixing bowl, combine cucumbers, shallots, tomatoes, 1/4 tsp. salt, and 1/4 tsp. pepper. Set aside.

    Roast the Salmon

    Pat salmon dry and season flesh side with lemon n herb seasoning.

    Place salmon on prepared baking sheet, skin-side down, and top with 1 tsp. olive oil.

    Roast in hot oven until salmon reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 10-12 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven. Transfer to a plate. Let cool, 5-7 minutes.

    Once cool enough to handle, remove skin and flake into bite-sized pieces.

    While salmon roasts, continue recipe.

    Finish the Salad

    Add spring mix and dressing to mixing bowl with vegetables. Gently toss until coated. Set aside.

    Make Cream Cheese Topping and Finish Dish

    In another mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, everything bagel blend, and 1 Tbsp. water. Set aside.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping salad with salmon, dollops of cream cheese topping, and capers. Bon appétit!
