Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

  • Ground Turkey 165° F |

    Microwave Instructions

    Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.

    Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. Tear a small slit in an upper corner of bag to vent. Place upright in microwave and heat, 45 seconds.

    Remove rice from packaging. Drain black beans. Combing rice, black beans, 1/4 tsp. salt, and 2 Tbsp. water in one side of provided tray. Drain beef and separate slices.

    Combine beef, seasoning blend, salsa verde, and 1/4 tsp. salt in empty side of tray until beef is coated.

    Cover tray with a damp paper towel. Microwave until heated through, 1-2 minutes.

    Carefully remove tray from microwave. Halve lime and squeeze juice of half over rice and beans. To serve, garnish with beef with sour cream and squeeze remaining lime over to taste. Bon appétit!

    Turn oven on to 375 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.
