Cooking Guidelines

    Stem and halve red bell pepper. Remove seeds and ribs. Slice into 1" strips Trim ends off green beans Mince garlic cloves mince pickled ginger Pat pork chops dry. Place between two pieces of plastic wrap and using a heavy object (like a meat mallet), pound to 1 " thick. Remove plastic and season pork with ¼ tsp salt and pepper.

    Place tempura and 4 tsp water in a mixing bowl and stir to combine. Dip one pork chop into cornstarch slurry coating both sides. Sprinkle both sides with half sesame seeds and transfer to a plate. gently press the seeds to both sides to adhere. Repeat with remaining pork chop and sesame seeds.

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil. Add garlic and cook, 30 seconds. Add green beans and cook 1 minute. Add ¼ cup water, ¼ tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper. Cover, and cook until tender, 6-8 minutes. Remove lid and add red bell pepper.Cook stirring occasionally till pepper is tender, 2-3 min. Add pickled ginger and stir to combine. Cook 1 minute and remove from heat. Garnish veg with red ppper flavkes to taste. While veg cooks, start pork....

    "milanese style" fry

    Line a plate with paper towels. Place large non stick pan over medium high heat and add 6 tsp oil. When oil is hot carefully add pork chops to pan. Sear on both sides till golden brown and sesame seeds are seared into place. 2-3 min per side. Transfer chops to a paper towel lined plate and sprinkle with a pinch of salt.

    Place miso sauce concentrate in a microwave safe bowl. Add 2 tbsp water and stir to combine. Microwave on high for 20-30 sec. Plate pork chop and veg and drizzle miso sauce over pork chop. Bon Appetit!
