If using ground beef, roast until meatballs reach minimum internal temperature, 17-20 minutes.

1 Prepare the Fries
Cut potatoes into 1/4"-thick fries and pat dry.
Place fries on one half of prepared baking sheet. Toss with 1 Tbsp. olive oil and a pinch of salt and pepper. Spread into a single layer on their side. -
2 Add the Meatballs
In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork, onion salt, sour cream, and panko.
Form meat mixture into 6 equally-sized meatballs.Place meatballs on empty side of sheet. -
3 Roast the Fries and Meatballs
Roast in hot oven until fries are tender and meatballs reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 20-25 minutes, flipping once halfway through.
While fries and meatballs roast, continue recipe. -
4 Add Toppings and Finish Dish
Halve and peel onion. Slice halves into thin strips.
Carefully remove sheet from oven. Evenly top meatballs with BBQ sauce and onions. Roast again in hot oven until sauce and onions are heated through, 3-5 minutes.Place rolls directly on oven rack. Toast until lightly browned, 3-5 minutes.Carefully remove sheet and rolls from oven. Stir piri piri seasoning (to taste) into fries until coated.To serve, fill roll with topped meatballs and pickles.
