Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Cook in a medium non-stick pan with 2 tsp. olive oil over medium heat until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

    Start the Tomatoes and Shrimp

    Prick tomatoes all over with a fork. If you receive one whole tomato instead, not to worry; simply core tomato, cut into 1/2" dice, and proceed with recipe instructions.

    Pat shrimp dry and season all over with garlic pepper.

    Combine tomatoes and shrimp in provided tray and toss with 1 tsp. olive oil and 1/4 tsp. salt.

    Bake uncovered in hot oven, 10 minutes.

    Shrimp will finish cooking in a later step.

    Carefully remove from oven.

    Add the Couscous and Spinach

    Add couscous and spinach to tray and stir to combine. Spread into an even layer. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Evenly top with 1 Tbsp. salted butter and cover tray with foil.

    Finish the Meal

    Bake covered in hot oven until spinach is wilted, couscous is heated through, and shrimp reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 10-15 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven and discard foil. Str in dressing and half the cheese (reserve remaining for garnish) until combined.

    To serve, top couscous mixture with tzatziki and remaining cheese. Bon appétit!
