Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

    Cook the Turkey

    Heat 1 tsp. olive oil in a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat.

    Add ground turkey, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper to hot pan. Break up turkey until no pink remains and turkey reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 7-9 minutes.

    Transfer turkey to a plate. Keep pan over medium-high heat.

    Cook the Broccoli

    Add 2 tsp. olive oil and broccoli to hot pan. Stir occasionally until beginning to get tender, 2-3 minutes.

    Add 3 Tbsp. water and a pinch of salt. Cover, and cook until tender, 2-3 minutes.

    Make the Sauce

    Uncover, and stir in crushed tomatoes, softened cream cheese, tomato paste, garlic salt, pasta, and 1/2 cup water. Bring to a simmer.

    Once simmering, remove from burner and stir in turkey.

    Finish the Dish

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, garnishing with red pepper flakes (to taste) and grated cheese. Bon appétit!
